I had this idea that I wanted to put televisions in a couple of the bedrooms, the problem was, I didn’t want to be looking into the side of the TV or see a bunch of wires. The ideal position for the TV was a bit unsightly. I started searching for a wall mounted TV unit but couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. How hard could this be I thought to myself!
It was in that moment that I set out to build my very first piece!
That was the day I got acquainted with my new circular saw. Now I wont lie to you, it wasn’t completely obvious but I just thought I would give it a crack!
Unfortunately, Round 1 was no so good for the trestle table!!!
Circular Saw 1…. Trestle Table 0.
The good news is, I managed to not lose a finger and wait to you see what I came up with!
Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither was my TV cabinet!!
Baby steps people!! LOL!! x
What NOT TO DO with a Circular Saw!!
It was a bit of a rough start (Especially for the trestle table!) But…
I am actually really happy with the end result!
I made two television cabinets. The hardest part was trying to get perfect edges/corners on my frame. Just a little insider tip… I used a thick glitter paint for Gypsy’s cabinet. It did a great job of concealing my not so handy work!!
